What is Red Light Therapy and how can it help your horse
(and you too!)

Red Light Therapy Pad

Imagine if your horse developed an issue that, after veterinary examination, revealed a condition that called for paddock rest but your horse obviously needed some TLC.  You feel a bit powerless and start searching for some other way to help him.

We don't have any formal qualifications (except life experience with horses), so it is always good to call in a professional. We are also fortunate in having an equine therapist in our area who is extremely helpful in using her various modalities of  Body work, Acupuncture and PEMF, pinpointing acute areas of pain and treat the horse accordingly.

Turmeric, a natural pain reliever?

The advantages of adding Turmeric to your horse's diet are numerous. We have been supplementing Turmeric, Black Pepper and oil to our feeds for a few years now and see no reason to stop doing so.  Their coats and wellness are all the testament I need to keep adding it to their feeding regime.

Selenium Colloid is well worth a thought …....

Breathing Problems

I am having good success with horses that are 'thick in the wind' or have a breathing problem which could be related to a past viral infection.  A 14 day course of Selenium Colloid has improved their breathing from noisy to be much quieter, to normal.  I have found this to be a very cost effective way to address this problem.

Wind Problem Related to Thyroid Condition

One horse in my stable arrived with a heavy-noisy breathing problem found during light exercise which was very unnatural.  Being overweight also, we diagnosed that he had a thyroid condition. ...

How Liver Kidney Detox helped my top show hunter

"My top show hunter is presently in box rest due to a hit to this leg causing two splints.  Even though we take him out for a control pick and walk him, his sheath has become very swollen. I’ve cleaned it several times and know that due to his show condition and lack of exercise I’m dealing with a protein issue.   A friend recommended that your Liver Kidney Detox may help him whilst he is in box recovering for the splints.  After giving him the 20ml dose for three days his sheath is 100% better. I’m very impressed and I bet my horse is feeling much more comfortable.   His splints are looking great (hardly noticeable) and I expect him make a full recovery, planning to bring him back into work towards the end of November early December."

Fortissimo Freestyles speaks about our service

It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial for Tony and Jean Green. They have been at the forefront of my equine treatments since my Bowen therapist recommended them a good 10 years ago.

I have dressage horses and the vet had written off my beautiful boy “Aria” as totally unrideable for the rest of his natural life after sidebone was found in his offside fore at only the relatively youthful age of 7. After 6 months off and Tony Green he was completely sound and has since trained onto Medium. My children are now learning to ride on him and he has spent his life teaching countless others. His mother was my 1st horse so the attachment is forever. Her baby is teaching my babies to ride and this would not be possible without Formula 10.

Tony has helped me with each and every one of my horses...

About our Performance Formulas

About Glucosamine:

Studies have proven the effectiveness of glucosamine in the relief of pain and inflammation associated with arthritis and in optimal healing for joints. There are three components of connective tissue that make up ligaments, cartilage, tendons and spinal discs. These are water, collagen and a long chain made up mainly of glucose and an amino acid, glutamine. Glucose and glutamine are known as glucosamine.

Glucosamine forms proteoglycans, a substance which provides structure and flexibility to tissues such as bone, cartilage, skin, hair and bones. If there is an injury to joints or bones, or a nutritional deficiency, glucosamine sometimes cannot be produced fast enough, cartilage loses its springy and sliding characteristics and the end of bones do not glide smoothly across each other. Inflammation results due to damage of the cartilage cushion.

About MSM:

MSM provides naturally occurring organic sulphur. It is one of the principal...
